Cabo de fibra ótica EFB Elektronik O0350.50 50 m LC amarelo

The EFB Elektronik O0350.50 50 m LC Yellow is a single-mode OS2 fibre optic patch cable designed for high-speed, long-distance data transmission. With LC connectors on both ends and a 9 µm core diameter, this 50-metre cable provides reliable full-duplex optical communication suitable for structured cabling in data centres, telecom rooms and enterprise networks. The yellow jacket provides standard single-mode colour coding for straightforward identification and cable management.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable delivers low attenuation and stable signal quality over extended distances thanks to the OS2 single-mode construction and 9 µm core. LC connectors ensure compact, high-density termination compatible with a wide range of transceivers and patch panels. The 50 m length reduces the need for splices or additional patch segments in medium to large installations, while the yellow outer jacket aids rapid visual identification in multi-cable environments.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting network equipment in data centres and server rooms
• Connecting optical transceivers and SFP/SFP+ modules
• Backbone links and long-reach point-to-point connections within buildings
• Telecommunications cabinets and structured horizontal cabling

Key specifications

• Fibre type: Single-mode OS2
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC
• Cable length: 50 m
• Duplex mode: Full duplex
• Jacket colour: Yellow (single-mode standard)

How to use

Route the fibre cable avoiding sharp bends and tensile stress; maintain a bend radius consistent with manufacturer recommendations for single-mode fibres. Insert LC connectors into compatible LC ports on network equipment or patch panels until they click into place. Ensure both ends are clean and free of dust before connecting by inspecting and, if necessary, cleaning the ferrules with approved fibre cleaning tools. Test the link with appropriate optical test equipment to verify attenuation and continuity after installation.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a dust-free environment prior to installation, protect connector ends with dust caps when not in use, and avoid tight loops or kinks to maintain optical performance. Use fibre inspection and cleaning before every connection and employ certified testing procedures for critical network links.
