Cabo de fibra ótica híbrida HDMI AOC DIGITUS UHD 8K, 80 m

DIGITUS HDMI AOC hybrid fiber optic cable UHD 8K, 80 m is an active HDMI cable designed for long-distance transmission of uncompressed video and audio signals. Combining fiber-optic cores with copper conductors, this cable delivers up to 48 Gbps bandwidth and supports UHD 8K at 60 Hz (UHD-2) without latency or measurable signal loss. Its compact construction (outer diameter 4.8 mm) and flexible bending radius allow installation in fixed AV systems, conference venues, studios and home theater environments while remaining resistant to electromagnetic interference.

Advantages

The hybrid fiber optic design ensures loss-free, delay-free transmission of high-bandwidth HDMI signals over 80 meters while maintaining compatibility with HDMI 2.1 features such as HDR, eARC, CEC and EDID. Low outer diameter and a minimum bending radius of 20 mm provide flexibility for routed installations and cable drums allow controlled unwinding during setup. Immunity to EMI and stable throughput up to 48 Gbps make the cable suitable for environments with electrical noise and for professional AV deployments.

Suitable for

• Long-distance AV links in conference rooms and meeting spaces
• Digital signage installations in retail, airports or public spaces
• Recording studios and broadcast engineering where lossless signals are required
• Home cinema systems demanding 8K/60Hz sources at remote displays
• Fixed AV installations in auditoriums, lecture halls and control rooms

How to use

Connect one HDMI connector to the source device (PC, media player, AV receiver) and the other HDMI connector to the display or sink device. The cable is active and plug & play; no driver installation is required. Ensure connectors are fully seated and avoid sharp bends below the specified 20 mm bending radius during routing. Use the cable drum or controlled unwinding method when deploying the 80 m length to prevent kinks. Verify source and display are configured for the desired resolution and HDR/audio formats.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation, route the cable away from high-voltage power lines and heat sources. Keep bends gentle and respect the minimum bending radius to preserve fiber integrity. When using advanced HDMI 2.1 features (8K/60Hz, eARC, HDR), confirm both source and display support the required settings and HDCP/EDID handshakes. For permanent installations, secure the cable at regular intervals to avoid strain on connectors.
