Cabo de fibra ótica InfiniBand BlueOptics H-SFP+AOC20M-BO 20 m azul-água

The BlueOptics H-SFP+AOC20M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 20 m Aqua is an active optical cable (AOC) with SFP+ connectors on both ends, designed for short-range, high-speed InfiniBand and 10G Ethernet links. This 20 metre multimode AOC integrates the optical transmitter and receiver in the connector housings and follows industry MSA form-factor standards to ensure physical compatibility with SFP+ ports. The Aqua-coloured jacket makes cable identification easier in dense racks and cabling environments.

Advantages

This 20 m active optical cable provides consistent 10G data transfer performance over multimode fibre while eliminating the need for separate transceivers and patch cords. The integrated transceivers reduce component count, simplify installation and help maintain signal integrity over the full cable length. Compliance with SFP+ form-factor conventions ensures plug-and-play operation with equipment that supports industry-standard SFP+ AOC modules.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics H-SFP+AOC20M-BO by inserting each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on your devices until the module latches. Ensure both devices support SFP+ AOC modules and the intended protocol (10GBASE-SR or InfiniBand). Route the cable along standard cable management paths to avoid sharp bends and strain; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for multimode fibre optics to preserve performance. No separate transceiver modules, fibre patch cords or additional configuration are required in most systems that accept SFP+ AOC modules, though verifying firmware compatibility on networking or storage equipment is advisable.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, confirm that host devices list support for SFP+ AOC modules or for the BlueOptics/Apresia compatible AOC family in their compatibility documentation. Avoid tight bends, excessive pulling force and exposure to liquids or extreme temperatures. In high-density installations label both ends and use the aqua jacket to distinguish this 20 m link from other runs. When in doubt, test the cable in your specific hardware environment before deploying in production.
