Cabo de fibra ótica InfiniBand BlueOptics H-SFP+AOC2M-BO 2 m azul-água

The BlueOptics H-SFP+AOC2M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 2 m Aqua is a 2-metre active optical cable (AOC) with SFP+ male-to-male connectors designed for high-speed InfiniBand and 10G networking environments. The cable uses multimode fibre with integrated transmitter and receiver modules in each connector, providing a standardized SFP+ to SFP+ link that follows MSA-compatible form factor and supports typical 10GBASE-SR class applications. Its aqua jacket and compact SFP+ interface make it suitable for dense rack and data centre cabling scenarios where short-reach, low-latency optical connections are required.

Advantages

The BlueOptics AOC offers a plug-and-play SFP+ connection that avoids separate transceiver modules and fibre patch cords, simplifying installation and reducing component count. Built-in optical transceivers at each end provide consistent signal quality over the 2 m multimode link, supporting high data rates up to 10 Gbps in compatible systems. The cable’s standardized SFP+ form factor ensures broad compatibility with switches, routers and storage platforms that accept SFP+ AOCs, while the fixed length and integrated optics reduce potential points of failure compared with discrete transceiver and patch-fibre assemblies.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics H-SFP+AOC2M-BO by inserting each SFP+ connector into the appropriate SFP+ slot on your networking equipment until it latches. Ensure both devices are powered and configured to use SFP+ optics and that their interfaces are set to compatible speeds and protocols (for example, 10G Ethernet or InfiniBand as supported by the hardware). No separate transceivers or patch fibre are necessary; the cable provides the optical link internally. Verify link lights and interface status on connected devices and adjust interface settings if needed in the device management console.

Recommendations

Use this 2 m AOC for in-rack or short inter-rack connections where 10G multimode performance is required. Avoid sharp bends and excessive strain on the cable and connectors; maintain recommended bend radii for multimode fibre. Confirm device compatibility with SFP+ AOCs in advance and test the link after installation to ensure the expected throughput and protocol support.
