Cabo de fibra ótica InfiniBand BlueOptics MFA2P10-A015-BO 15 m SFP28 aqua

The BlueOptics MFA2P10-A015-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 15 m SFP28 Aqua is a 15‑metre active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 connectors designed for short‑reach, high‑speed links in data centres and enterprise networks. Engineered for 25G data rates over multimode fibre, this aqua‑coloured cable integrates a transmitter and receiver in each SFP28 end to deliver low‑latency optical connectivity compatible with common InfiniBand and Ethernet hardware that supports SFP28 AOC interfaces.

Advantages

This active optical cable provides stable 25G performance across a 15 m distance while maintaining compatibility with SFP28 ports and MSA‑compliant systems. The integrated transceivers simplify installation by presenting as standard SFP28 modules, reducing the need for separate transceivers and optical patching. Its multimode design supports robust short‑reach transmission, and the distinct aqua jacket helps with cable identification and organised rack deployment.

How to use

Install the AOC by inserting each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on your network devices until it clicks into place. Ensure both devices support SFP28 active optical modules and are powered off or that hot‑swap procedures recommended by the device manufacturer are followed. After insertion, verify link status and negotiate speed on the connected ports using your network management tools. Route the cable within cable management trays or Velcro ties to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress.

Recommendations

Use this 15 m SFP28 AOC for short‑reach connections within rack and row distances; avoid repeated tight bending and exposure to excessive tensile force. Confirm device compatibility with SFP28 AOC modules and, if needed, test a sample in your platform to validate link behaviour and firmware interoperability before wide deployment.
