Cabo de fibra ótica InfiniBand BlueOptics SFP-25G-AOC50M-BO 50 m SFP28 azul-água

The BlueOptics SFP-25G-AOC50M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 50 m SFP28 Aqua is a 50-metre active optical cable with SFP28 male-to-male connectors. It is designed for high-speed data transmission in data centres and networking environments that require multi-mode fibre connectivity. The cable integrates transmitters and receivers on both ends and follows MSA-compatible SFP28 form factor to ensure physical interoperability with SFP28 ports.

Advantages

This active optical cable supports data rates up to 25 Gbit/s over a 50 m multi-mode fibre link and is compatible with devices that accept SFP28 modules. The pre-terminated male-to-male SFP28 connectors simplify installation and reduce assembly time compared with separate transceivers and patch cords. The Aqua-coloured jacket identifies the cable as suitable for multi-mode high-speed links and supports consistent polarity and signal integrity across the 50 m length.

Suitable for

• High-density data centre interconnects between switches and servers
• Short-reach 25G Ethernet links within racks or across adjacent racks
• Storage networking and Fibre Channel over Ethernet applications up to 25G
• Environments requiring SFP28-to-SFP28 direct connections with MSA compliance

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP28 male-to-male (both ends)
• Length: 50 metres
• Data rate: up to 25 Gbit/s
• Fibre type: multi-mode fibre (MMF)
• Cable colour: Aqua
• Cable type: Active Optical Cable (AOC) with integrated Tx/Rx modules

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 ports on your networking devices until the latch engages. Ensure that both devices support the SFP28 form factor and the intended 25G protocols (for example 25GBASE-SR4 or vendor-supported equivalents). Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain; maintain recommended bend radii for multi-mode fibre. If required by your device firmware or vendor policy, enable any necessary port configuration for 25G operation and verify link status after installation.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short-reach, high-bandwidth links within racks or between adjacent racks. Avoid excessive bending, kinking, or tensile stress. Verify device compatibility with SFP28 AOC modules and confirm support for 25G operation in the target hardware and firmware.
