Cabo de fibra ótica InfiniBand BlueOptics YT56V-BL 3 m QSFP28

The BlueOptics YT56V-BL InfiniBand fibre optic cable 3 m QSFP28 is a 3-meter high-speed interconnect with QSFP28 connectors on both ends. It is intended for short-reach, high-bandwidth links in data centers and networking racks and supports InfiniBand and other 100G-class applications where QSFP28 connectivity is required. The design focuses on reliable signal transmission and physical compatibility with hardware that accepts QSFP28 modules or QSFP28 direct-connect cabling.

Advantages

This 3 m QSFP28 cable provides a compact, low-latency connection suitable for rack-to-rack or within-rack links. It is engineered for consistent electrical and mechanical performance in demanding environments and conforms to common QSFP28 form-factor expectations for plug-and-play installation. The cable offers a cost-effective option for short-distance 100G connectivity and is built to meet standard mechanical and electrical interfaces.

Suitable for

• High-speed server-to-switch connections inside racks
• Switch-to-switch links across adjacent racks
• Storage system connectivity requiring 100G QSFP28 interfaces
• InfiniBand and Ethernet environments that use QSFP28 ports

Key specifications

• Connector type: QSFP28 on both ends
• Length: 3 meters
• Supported link class: 100G-class (InfiniBand, Ethernet, FCoE, Fibre Channel where applicable)
• Cable type: direct attach, short-reach interconnect for QSFP28 interfaces
• Application environment: data center and networking racks

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each QSFP28 connector into the corresponding port until the latch engages; ensure both devices are powered down or that the vendor-recommended hot-plug procedure is followed. Verify link negotiation and port status in the host or switch management interface. For InfiniBand or Ethernet operation, configure the connected devices per their documentation to enable the desired speed and protocol. Handle the cable by the connector housings and avoid excessive bending near the ends during installation.

Recommendations

Use this 3 m QSFP28 cable for short-distance 100G links inside racks or between adjacent racks. Confirm that the target hardware supports passive direct-attach QSFP28 cabling or the specific QSFP28 electrical pinout required by your devices. Maintain proper bend radius and avoid mechanical strain to preserve signal integrity and service life.
