Cabo de fibra ótica LOGON AL5SCSC25I/3I OM3 25 m SC–SC 50 µm full duplex aqua

LOGON AL5SCSC25I/3I OM3 25 m SC–SC 50 µm full duplex Aqua is a multimode fibre optic patch cable designed for high-speed links. The cable uses OM3 grade multimode fibre with a 50 µm core diameter and SC connectors on both ends to provide reliable full-duplex connections over a 25 metre length. The aqua-coloured LSZH jacket identifies OM3 installations and reduces smoke and halogen emission in the event of fire.

Advantages

This OM3 fibre patch cable supports high-bandwidth multimode transmission suitable for short to medium range data links. SC–SC terminations deliver stable mechanical mating and low insertion loss when properly installed. The 50 µm core combined with OM3 specifications enables improved modal bandwidth for 10 GbE and InfiniBand applications compared with lower-grade multimode fibres. The LSZH jacket provides a safer sheath material for use in enclosed or public spaces, and the standard 25 m length covers common rack-to-rack and room-to-room runs without additional splicing.

Suitable for

• Server rack to switch connections in data centres
• InfiniBand and 10 Gigabit Ethernet multimode links
• Patch panel to equipment links in structured cabling
• Short to medium distance multimode backbone segments

Key specifications

• Fibre type: Multimode OM3
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: SC to SC, duplex
• Length: 25 m
• Jacket material: Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH)
• Colour: Aqua (OM3 identification)
• Transmission: Full duplex multimode

How to use

Install the LOGON OM3 SC–SC patch cable by aligning each SC connector with the corresponding SC adapter or port until it clicks into place, ensuring the duplex connectors match the TX/RX orientation required by devices. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius to prevent increased attenuation. For permanent or semi-permanent installations, secure the cable along trays or cable management panels and avoid running near strong electromagnetic interference sources.

Recommendations

Inspect connector endfaces before installation and clean with appropriate fibre cleaning tools if contamination is present. Use this OM3 cable for short to medium multimode runs and verify link performance after installation with suitable test equipment to ensure insertion loss and return loss are within acceptable limits.
