Cabo de fibra ótica METZ CONNECT 151P1EOJO25E SC LC I-V(ZN) H 2,5 m amarelo

The METZ CONNECT 151P1EOJO25E fibre optic cable is a 2.5 m patch cable intended for reliable optical data links. It uses a single-mode G.657.A2 fibre with a 9 µm core diameter and is supplied in yellow for clear identification within structured cabling. The cable type is I-V(ZN) H and it is fitted with an SC connector on one end and an LC connector on the other, enabling compatibility with equipment using standard SC and LC ports and supporting full-duplex transmission.

Advantages

This METZ CONNECT cable offers low-loss single-mode transmission thanks to the G.657.A2 fibre specification and a 9 µm core, while the SC to LC connector pair provides broad compatibility with networking and telecommunication equipment. The 2.5 m length balances reach and cable management in rack and patch-panel environments, and the yellow sheath facilitates visual identification of single-mode runs in mixed-cable installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting single-mode optical transceivers and patch panels with SC and LC ports
• Interlinking telecommunications equipment in data centres and telecom rooms
• Fiber patching within wiring closets and network cabinets
• Test setups and temporary links where a 2.5 m length is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2.5 m
• Cable type: I-V(ZN) H
• Fibre type: Single-mode G.657.A2
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Connector 1: SC
• Connector 2: LC
• Colour: Yellow

How to use

Route the fibre optic cable avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension; observe the minimum bend radius appropriate for single-mode fibres. Clean connector endfaces before making connections using a suitable fibre cleaning tool to ensure low insertion loss. Insert the SC and LC connectors into the corresponding ports until they are securely latched. For temporary tests, support the cable to prevent movement at the connection points.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a dry, dust-free environment; avoid kinking and protect connectors with dust caps when not connected. For best performance, perform inspection and testing after installation using an optical power meter or OTDR where applicable.
