Cabo de ligação de fibra ótica Value 50/125µm LC/ST OM4 violeta 0,5 m

VALUE Fibre Optic Jumper cable with 50/125 µm OM4 multimode fiber, LC to ST connectors and a length of 0.5 m. The cable is colour-coded purple for easy identification and is intended for high-speed network links in data centers, building backbones and campus networks.

Advantages

The OM4 multimode fiber provides a laser bandwidth of 4700 MHz·km, exceeding IEEE requirements for 10 Gbit/s over 300 m and enabling extended 10 Gbit/s reach up to approximately 550 m. LC and ST terminations offer compatibility with common transceivers and patch panels. The short 0.5 m jumper length reduces excess cable slack in patching areas and simplifies cable management.

Suitable for

• Short-reach data centre connections
• High performance computing clusters
• Building backbone and medium-length campus backbone links
• Patch panel to transceiver or equipment interconnects

Key specifications

• Fiber type: OM4 multimode, 50/125 µm
• Connectors: LC (one end) to ST (other end)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Colour: purple
• Laser bandwidth: 4700 MHz·km
• Brand / MPN / EAN: VALUE / 21.99.8770 / 7611990198399

How to use

Install the jumper by inserting the LC connector into the LC port and the ST connector into the ST port or adapter until each connector clicks or seats securely. Use the 0.5 m length for close patching between equipment and patch panels; avoid bending the fibre beyond manufacturer-specified bend radius and ensure connectors are clean before mating to maintain signal quality.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, clean connectors with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before each connection, route the jumper to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain, and use OM4-rated infrastructure for links that require the extended bandwidth and reach described.
