Cabo de rede de fibra ótica helos 216668 9/125µm OS2 SC-SC duplex 15m

Fiber Optic Patch Cable helos 216668 is a single-mode duplex cable with 9/125µm core/cladding (OS2) and SC connectors on both ends. The cable length is 15.0 meters and the yellow jacket identifies it as single-mode. It is intended for use in high-speed data, telecom and network interconnections that require low loss and stable single-mode transmission.

Advantages

The helos 216668 cable provides stable single-mode transmission with low attenuation thanks to the 9/125µm OS2 fiber specification. Duplex SC-SC termination ensures reliable, easy-to-install connections to patch panels, switches and fiber equipment. The 15 m length offers flexibility for linking devices in racks or across short to medium distance runs.

Suitable for

• Data center and telecom interconnects
• Patch panels and fiber switch connections
• LAN backbone and equipment links
• Single-mode fiber test setups

How to use

Inspect connectors and ensure dust caps are removed before installation. Route the duplex SC-SC cable between devices or panels without sharp bends and secure it to avoid strain. Insert the SC connectors into corresponding SC ports until they click into place. For removal, press the connector latch and pull straight out to avoid damaging the fiber.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a clean environment, use protective caps when not connected, maintain bend radius as specified by the manufacturer, and clean connector endfaces with appropriate fiber cleaning tools to preserve low insertion loss and return loss performance.
