Cabo de rede ShiverPeaks 75725-AR Cat 6A S/FTP PIMF, venda ao metro, 23 AWG

ShiverPeaks 75725-AR Cat 6A S/FTP PIMF bulk data cable is engineered for high-speed Ethernet and reliable data transmission in structured cabling environments. This Cat 6A cable supports 10 Gbps performance across up to 500 MHz, combining individually foil-shielded twisted pairs with an overall drain/shield to reduce alien crosstalk and electromagnetic interference. The cable construction uses 23 AWG conductors to balance signal integrity and installation flexibility for server rooms, office networks and horizontal cabling runs.

Advantages

The S/FTP PIMF design provides robust pair-level shielding plus an overall drain/shield, improving protection against external EMI and internal crosstalk. With Cat 6A specifications and support for 10 Gbps, the cable is suitable for modern high-bandwidth applications. A halogen-free jacket and standardized construction allow compliance with many building and safety requirements while facilitating easier handling during installation.

Suitable for

• Server rooms and data centres requiring 10 Gbps connectivity
• Office LANs and structured horizontal cabling
• High-density rack installations and patch panels
• Applications sensitive to electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Category: Cat 6A (augmented Category 6)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield with individually foil-shielded pairs, PIMF)
• Conductor size: 23 AWG solid or stranded conductor geometry as per cable type
• Supported bandwidth: up to 500 MHz
• Data rate: up to 10 Gbps over appropriate channel lengths
• Jacket: halogen-free material suitable for commercial installations

How to use

Install the cable following standard structured cabling practices. Terminate the cable to compatible Cat 6A connectors or keystone jacks that support S/FTP shielding and ensure the drain wire is connected to the connector shield for proper grounding. Route cables within cable trays or conduits to maintain bend radius and avoid close parallel runs with power lines. Test installed links with a certified cable tester to verify performance up to 10 Gbps and confirm shield continuity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, maintain recommended bend radius and avoid excessive pulling force during installation. Use compatible shielded patch cords and connectors to preserve the cable’s S/FTP advantages, and verify installation with Category 6A certification testing when deploying in high-bandwidth environments.
