Cabo DELOCK InfiniBand / fibra ótica 75 m MMF OM3 2x LC – cor aqua

DELOCK InfiniBand / fibre optic cable 75 m MMF OM3 2x LC in aqua colour is a multimode optical cable for short- to medium-range high-speed data links. It uses OM3 multimode fibre with a 50 µm core and duplex LC connectors on both ends to provide full-duplex optical transmission suitable for data centre, server and storage networking environments.

Advantages

The OM3 multimode fibre supports high bandwidth for short- to medium-distance connections and the duplex 2x LC connectors enable straightforward full-duplex links. The aqua-coloured LSZH jacket identifies the OM3 grade and reduces smoke and halogen emissions in case of fire, making it suitable for enclosed technical spaces. A 75 m length covers typical runs within racks, between racks and across server rooms.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches to media converters
• Links between servers, storage arrays and switches in data centres
• High-speed InfiniBand or fibre channel short- to medium-range connections

When it may not be suitable

This multimode OM3 cable is intended for short- to medium-distance optical links; it is not designed for single-mode long-distance transmission. It also does not include transceivers or media converters, so additional equipment is required if converting between copper and fibre interfaces.

Key specifications

• Cable type: Multimode fibre (MMF), OM3
• Core diameter: 50 µm multimode
• Length: 75 m
• Connectors: Duplex 2x LC on both ends (male)
• Transmission: Full duplex
• Jacket material: Low smoke zero halogen (LSZH)
• Colour: Aqua

How to use

Route the cable between network devices, ensuring gentle bends and avoiding tight radii to maintain optical performance. Plug the duplex LC connectors into the corresponding LC ports on each device, matching transmit and receive pairs for full-duplex operation. Secure the cable path to prevent strain on connectors and keep the LSZH jacket clean from dust; use dust caps when connectors are not in use.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that connected devices accept duplex LC multimode OM3 connectors
• Confirm 75 m length meets the required link distance with margin for routing
• Ensure multimode OM3 performance is appropriate versus single-mode requirements

Recommendations

For best performance, maintain minimum bend radius and keep connector endfaces clean; use compatible transceivers and follow data centre cabling standards for routing and labeling.
