Cabo DisplayPort 1.4 ACT 1 metro 8K macho – macho

The ACT DisplayPort 1.4 cable (male–male) provides high-bandwidth video and audio transmission for displays and graphics cards. It supports up to 8K at 60Hz and 4K at 120Hz with a maximum bandwidth of 32.4 Gbps and HDR compatibility. The cable is 1 meter long, has a 7.3 mm diameter and comes in black with gold-plated lockable connectors for a reliable connection.

Advantages

This DisplayPort 1.4 cable delivers high-resolution output and wide colour range via HDR while supporting DSC 1.2 and Forward Error Correction for improved signal integrity. It carries up to 32 inline audio channels and features gold-plated lockable connectors to reduce contact resistance and prevent accidental disconnection. The compact 1 m length and standard male-to-male DisplayPort ends make it suitable for typical desktop and workstation setups.

How to use

Insert one DisplayPort male connector into the DisplayPort output on your source device (for example a graphics card) and plug the other end into the DisplayPort input on your monitor. Ensure the connectors click into place to engage the locking mechanism. Configure display resolution and refresh rate in the operating system or graphics driver to match the desired 8K@60Hz or 4K@120Hz settings. If HDR is required, enable HDR in both the display settings and the application or OS.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable for direct connections between source and display without excessive cable coiling. Avoid running the cable alongside high-power electrical lines to minimize interference. Confirm that both source and display support DisplayPort 1.4 features (DSC, HDR, required refresh rates) to achieve the specified resolutions and bandwidth.
