Cabo HDMI de fibra ótica híbrida DIGITUS UHD 8K, 60 m

DIGITUS UHD 8K hybrid fiber optic HDMI cable, 60 m, combines active fiber-optic transmission with copper conductors to deliver uncompressed 8K video and high-resolution audio over long distances. The cable supports HDMI 2.1 feature set including HDR, eARC, CEC and EDID and provides lossless, near-zero latency transmission up to 48 Gbps. Its compact, flexible construction (4.8 mm OD, 20 mm bending radius) and EMI resistance make it suitable for professional AV installations, conference rooms, digital signage and home cinema systems where reliable long-reach 8K connectivity is required.

Advantages

The hybrid design combines OM3 fiber with copper conductors to ensure stable, interference-resistant data transfer with a transmission rate of up to 48 Gbps and zero frame delay. Long-range transmission of uncompressed HDMI audio and video over 60 m is possible without additional repeaters or drivers thanks to its active AOC design and Plug & Play operation. A small outer diameter and 20 mm bending radius provide flexible, unobtrusive installation options, and the cable supports advanced audio formats and HDMI features for compatibility with modern AV equipment.

Suitable for

• Professional AV systems and fixed installations in auditoriums or control rooms
• Conference rooms and meeting spaces requiring high-resolution video distribution
• Digital signage and retail displays with long cable runs
• Home theater setups needing long-reach 8K connections
• Studio and post-production environments requiring lossless, low-latency transmission

How to use

Connect the HDMI A connector of the DIGITUS hybrid fiber optic cable to the HDMI output of the source device and the HDMI B connector to the HDMI input of the display or AV receiver. The cable is active and requires no additional drivers; after connecting both ends the devices will negotiate EDID and HDCP automatically. Ensure gentle routing with a minimum bending radius of 20 mm and avoid sharp kinks. For optimal results, use compatible HDMI 2.1-capable source and display devices and verify audio settings on AV equipment to enable eARC or desired audio formats.

Recommendations

For long-term reliability, secure the cable with appropriate clamps or cable ties in fixed installations and avoid repeated tight bends near connectors. When integrating into complex AV systems, confirm device compatibility for HDR, HDCP 2.2 and eARC to ensure full functionality. If adapting to DVI devices, use suitable passive or active adapters and check EDID behavior after connection.
