Cabo HDMI ShiverPeaks BS20-10055 5m

The ShiverPeaks BS20-10055 HDMI Cable 5m provides a straightforward wired connection between HDMI-equipped devices. This 5-metre cable uses standard HDMI Type A male connectors on both ends with gold-plated contacts to maintain signal integrity and reduce corrosion. The black-and-grey exterior sheath is designed for typical home and office environments where a longer cable run is required for displays, AV receivers, consoles or media players.

Advantages

The cable’s gold-plated contacts improve contact reliability and resist oxidation over time, helping to preserve a stable digital signal. Its 5 m length allows flexible placement of TVs, monitors and AV components without the need for extension adapters. The neutral grey and black design integrates unobtrusively with home theater and gaming setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs and projectors to set-top boxes, Blu‑ray players or streaming devices
• Linking gaming consoles to monitors or large-screen TVs
• Connecting computers or laptops to external displays for presentations or media playback

Key specifications

• Connector type: HDMI Type A male to HDMI Type A male
• Cable length: 5 metres

• Exterior colour: Black and grey

How to use

Insert one HDMI Type A connector into the HDMI output of the source device and the other connector into the HDMI input of the display or receiver. Ensure both devices are powered off when connecting or disconnecting to avoid signal interruptions. After connection, power on the devices and select the corresponding HDMI input on the display. If needed, adjust display resolution or audio output settings on the source device to match the capabilities of the connected display.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid tight bends or kinks in the cable and keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources. If you require higher bandwidth for specific features (for example very high refresh rates or advanced color subsampling), verify that your devices support the desired HDMI profile and settings.
