Cabo InfiniBand/fibra ótica BlueOptics S+AO0015-BO 15 m SFP+ laranja

The BlueOptics S+AO0015-BO InfiniBand/fibre optic cable 15 m SFP+ Orange is a 15-metre active optical cable (AOC) with SFP+ male connectors on both ends. Designed for multi-mode fiber transmission, it supports 10GBASE-SR class optical links and provides a pre-assembled SFP+ to SFP+ connection for high-speed data transmission in switches, routers, storage systems and other networking hardware that support SFP+ AOCs.

Advantages

This SFP+ AOC delivers a plug-and-play fiber link that eliminates the need for separate transceivers and patch cords, reducing connector cleaning and attenuation issues. The cable integrates transmitters and receivers on each end to maintain signal integrity over the 15 m span, and it is manufactured to MSA-compliant mechanical and electrical specifications. Digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM/DOM) capability provides real-time information such as supply voltage, laser bias current, optical output and input power and temperature, when supported by the host hardware.

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on the networking devices until they click into place. Ensure that both devices support SFP+ AOC modules and, if you need DDM/DOM data, confirm that the host hardware exposes those diagnostics. No additional patch cords or external transceivers are required. For best results, route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; the pre-assembled fiber assembly simplifies deployment compared with separate patching and transceiver installation.

Recommendations

Verify compatibility with the target devices before deployment, check that ports support SFP+ AOCs and DDM/DOM if diagnostics are required, and avoid bending the cable beyond the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius. For short-reach 10 Gbps connections inside racks or between adjacent racks, use this 15 m AOC as a low-maintenance alternative to transceiver-plus-patch-cord setups.
