Cabo InfiniBand/fibra ótica DeLOCK 5 m LC LC/APC Amarelo 9 µm OS2

The DeLOCK 83232 is a 5 m fibre optic cable with LC/APC connectors and a 9 µm single-mode OS2 core. It is intended for high-speed data transmission between network devices and can be used to connect points such as FTTH house interconnection points to fibre optic modems.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable features LC/APC connectors for low back reflection and a 9 µm OS2 single-mode core for long-distance, high-quality signal transmission. The 5 m length and yellow jacket make it suitable for standard installations while maintaining consistent signal integrity for InfiniBand and other optical networking applications.

Suitable for

• Connecting FTTH house interconnection points to fibre optic modems
• InfiniBand connections in server rooms and data centers
• Single-mode optical links requiring LC/APC terminations

Key specifications

• Manufacturer: DELOCK
• Model / MPN: 83232
• EAN: 4043619832323
• Type: Single-mode fibre optic cable (OS2)
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Connectors: LC (one end) to LC/APC (other end)

How to use

Ensure both network devices are powered down or configured for safe hot-plugging, then insert the LC and LC/APC connectors into the corresponding ports until they click into place. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress, respecting the minimum bend radius specified by the installation environment. Verify the optical link and perform any necessary signal tests or modem configuration.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, handle connectors by the boot or connector body, keep end faces clean using appropriate fibre cleaning tools, and store the cable in a dry environment. Use this single-mode OS2 cable for long-distance or high-speed links and avoid using it in multimode-only systems.
