Cabo InfiniBand/fibra ótica Microconnect FIB221001 1 m SC amarelo

Microconnect FIB221001 is a 1 m SC–SC single mode (OS2) fibre optic patch cable in yellow, designed for high-speed data transmission in enterprise and telecom environments. With a 9 μm core diameter it supports full-duplex communication and is suitable for connecting network equipment in data centers, server rooms and cloud storage networks. The cable uses LSZH jacket materials and meets common industry standards for fibre installations.

Advantages

The SC to SC OS2 construction delivers low attenuation and stable signal performance over long distances, supporting 1G/10G/40G/100G Ethernet links. The 1 m length provides tidy patching in racks and fiber panels while the yellow LSZH jacket offers visibility and reduced smoke emission in case of fire. Standard-compliant manufacturing ensures compatibility with typical telecom and enterprise hardware.

Suitable for

• Data centres and server farms
• Telecom rooms and patch panels
• Cloud storage network interconnects
• 1G, 10G, 40G and 100G Ethernet connections

How to use

Route the fibre patch cord between SC ports on your transceivers, patch panels or network devices, ensuring connectors are clean before insertion. Align the keyed SC connectors and push until they latch; to remove, depress the latch and pull straight out. Keep the cable bend radius within manufacturer recommendations and avoid kinking to maintain optical performance.

Recommendations

For reliable links, clean connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before each connection, avoid excessive bending or tension, and store unused ends with dust caps installed. Use this 1 m OS2 SC–SC patch cord for short interconnects inside racks and between adjacent patch panels where single mode performance is required.
