Cabo InfiniBand/fibra ótica Microconnect FIB841001 1 m SC LC Amarelo

The Microconnect FIB841001 is a 1 m single-mode (OS2) fibre optic patch cable with SC connector on one end and LC connector on the other. It has a 9 µm core diameter and yellow LSZH jacket, designed for high-speed Ethernet and InfiniBand links in enterprise networks, server rooms, telecom racks and cloud storage environments. The cable supports 1G/10G/40G/100G connections and offers long-distance transmission up to 10 km at 1310 nm or up to 40 km at 1550 nm.

Advantages

This SC–LC OS2 patch cord provides low attenuation and stable single-mode signal transmission thanks to its 9 µm core. The LSZH outer jacket reduces smoke and toxic emissions in case of fire and meets common industry standards (IEC, EIA/TIA, Telcordia). Its 1 m length and yellow colour coding simplify cable management and identification in dense networking installations.

Suitable for

• Enterprise network backbone and horizontal cabling
• Server rooms and telecom racks
• Cloud storage and data centre interconnects
• 1G/10G/40G/100G Ethernet and InfiniBand links
• Fiber jumper replacement and short patching runs

Key specifications

• Type: Single-mode patch cord (OS2)
• Length: 1 m
• Connectors: SC (one end) to LC (other end)
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Jacket: LSZH, colour: Yellow
• Transmission distance: up to 10 km @ 1310 nm; up to 40 km @ 1550 nm
• Weight: 0.04 kg

How to use

Uncoil the cable gently and connect the SC end to the corresponding SC port and the LC end to the LC port on the equipment. Ensure connectors are clean before mating to prevent signal loss; use dust caps during storage. Avoid tight bends and secure the cable with appropriate cable management to maintain minimum bend radius and prevent mechanical stress.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, clean connectors with a fibre-cleaning tool before installation, route the cable to respect bend-radius specifications, and use LSZH-rated trays or conduits where low-smoke materials are required.
