Cabo InfiniBand SFP28 AOC BlueOptics 25 m, ficha SFP28–ficha SFP28, cor menta

BlueOptics InfiniBand SFP28 AOC 25 m cable is a direct-attach active optical cable designed for low-latency, high-bandwidth links between SFP28 ports. With SFP28 male connectors at both ends and a 25 m mint-coloured jacket, the cable provides optical connectivity suitable for 25 G-class InfiniBand and Ethernet SFP28 interfaces. Its lightweight construction (approx. 0.15 kg) and active transceivers at each end enable reliable signal transmission over multimode fiber for data center, server-to-switch and high-performance computing environments.

Advantages

The active optical design integrates transmitter and receiver modules in the cable ends to maintain signal integrity over the 25 m length while keeping latency low and bandwidth high. The SFP28-to-SFP28 interfaces follow common MSA form-factor conventions for straightforward compatibility with SFP28 ports. The mint-coloured jacket and lightweight build simplify cable identification and handling in dense cabling environments.

Suitable for

• 25 G/100 G class InfiniBand links
• 25 G Ethernet server-to-switch connections
• High-performance computing clusters and interconnects
• Data center rack and spine-to-leaf optical links

Key specifications

• Cable length: 25 m
• Connector type (each end): SFP28 male
• Supported data rates: up to 25 Gbit/s per link (25G class)
• Jacket colour: mint
• Weight: approximately 0.15 kg
• Active optical cable (AOC) with integrated transmitter and receiver modules

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on your network devices until the latch engages. Ensure devices are powered and configured to support 25G SFP28 links. Use the mint-coloured jacket to trace and route the cable through your patching paths, avoiding sharp bends and physical strain. The cable is plug-and-play in systems that accept SFP28 AOC modules and does not require separate transceivers or additional fiber patching.

Recommendations

Install the cable with a minimum bend radius recommended by the equipment manufacturer, avoid kinks, and keep connectors clean. Verify that both endpoints support 25G SFP28 AOC modules and confirm link status in your device interfaces after insertion. For dense installations, label both ends to preserve the mint-colour identification and streamline maintenance.
