Cabo ótico ativo BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-SS-BO SFP28, 25 m, cor de menta, macho – macho

BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-SS-BO is an active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 connectors on both ends and a fixed length of 25 m. The cable is designed for 25G applications and uses active transmitter and receiver modules integrated in the cable ends to transmit optical signals over multimode fiber, providing a low-latency direct attach solution for data centers, servers and network switches. The product has a mint-coloured jacket and a lightweight construction with a stated weight of approximately 0.15 kg.

Advantages

The BlueOptics SFP28 active optical cable delivers native SFP28 connectivity with plug-and-play operation for equipment that supports SFP28 AOC modules. Its integrated transceivers eliminate the need for separate fibre transceiver modules and reduce board-level power and space requirements compared to discrete optics. The 25 m length enables longer direct optical connections within rack rows or between adjacent racks while maintaining 25 Gbit/s data rate capability and low latency characteristics appropriate for high-speed Ethernet and Fibre Channel over Ethernet links.

Suitable for

• 25GBASE-SR4 and other 25 Gbit/s short-reach optical interconnects
• Direct connections between switches, routers and servers in data centres
• High-density top-of-rack and end-of-row interconnects where fixed-length AOCs are preferred
• Low-latency storage networking and Fibre Channel over Ethernet links

Key specifications

• Cable length: 25 m
• Connector type (both ends): SFP28, male-to-male
• Nominal data rate: up to 25 Gbit/s per lane (25G applications)
• Fibre type: multimode (integrated active transceivers for short-reach links)
• Colour: mint
• Weight: approx. 0.15 kg

How to use

Install the BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-SS-BO by inserting each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on the network devices until it clicks into place. Ensure both devices support SFP28 AOC modules and compatible 25G link configurations. No separate transceiver configuration is typically required; the cable negotiates link parameters automatically according to the connected equipment. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive strain, and secure it with cable management ties as needed.

Recommendations

Use this 25 m SFP28 AOC for short-reach optical interconnects inside racks or between nearby racks. Verify device compatibility with SFP28 AOCs and confirm firmware or compatibility notes from the equipment vendor when deploying in mixed-vendor environments. Avoid repeated bending near the connector ends and maintain multimode fibre cleanliness during installation.
