Cabo ótico ativo CBO AOC SFP28 BlueOptics BO272703Q1M 1 m para ligações 25GbE

The CBO AOC BlueOptics BO272703Q1M is a 1 meter active optical cable with SFP28 connectors engineered for 25GbE connections. It integrates optical transceivers and a fiber link into a single cable assembly, enabling direct high-speed links between servers, switches and storage systems that accept SFP28 form-factor modules. The compact one-cable design eliminates the need for separate transceiver modules and patch cords for short-reach interconnects in data center and enterprise network environments.

Advantages

This active optical cable delivers low-latency, high-bandwidth 25 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity in a single, pre-terminated assembly. The integrated optics reduce installation complexity and spare-part management while maintaining signal integrity over the 1 m distance. SFP28 connectors provide wide compatibility with network equipment supporting the SFP28 form factor, and the AOC design improves electromagnetic immunity compared with copper cabling.

Suitable for

• Short-distance server-to-switch links in data centers
• Top-of-rack switch to aggregation switch interconnects
• High-speed storage and compute cluster connections
• Environments requiring compact, low-weight fiber connections

Key specifications

• Form factor: SFP28 to SFP28 active optical cable
• Data rate: 25 Gigabit Ethernet
• Length: 1 meter
• Cable type: Active optical assembly with integrated transceivers
• Connector type: SFP28 optical connectors on both ends
• Typical use: Short-reach interconnects inside racks and between adjacent racks

How to use

Install the AOC by inserting each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on your network devices until the latch clicks. Ensure both devices support 25GbE over SFP28 and that ports are enabled in the device firmware or operating system. No separate transceiver configuration is required beyond standard port settings; once inserted, the link should negotiate and become active. Handle the cable by the connector housings and avoid sharp bends near the fiber section to preserve performance.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, verify interoperability with your switch or server vendor and ensure firmware supports active optical cables. Maintain bend radius guidelines, avoid excessive tensile stress, and use AOCs for short-reach connections where integrated optics reduce complexity and inventory.
