Cabo ótico ativo SFP28 BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-SW-BO, 25 m, cor menta, ficha-ficha

BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-SW-BO is an active optical cable with SFP28 connectors on both ends, designed to provide a 25 m optical link for 25G-class connections. The cable uses integrated transceivers to transmit and receive optical signals over multimode fiber, and its mint-coloured jacket and light weight (0.15 kg) make it suitable for neat routing in data centre and server rack environments. The product supports standard 25G applications and is intended for direct SFP28-to-SFP28 links between switches, servers and storage systems.

Advantages

The active optical construction allows for reliable 25 Gbit/s data transmission over a 25 m distance while maintaining low electrical interference and reduced heat compared with equivalent copper links. With SFP28 male connectors on both ends and a standardized form factor, the cable is compatible with equipment that accepts SFP28 AOC modules and follows common MSA specifications. Its lightweight, flexible mint-coloured jacket simplifies cable management and identification in dense installations.

Suitable for

• Interconnects between 25G-capable switches in data centres
• Direct links from servers to top-of-rack switches supporting SFP28
• Connections to storage arrays and network appliances requiring 25G optical links

Key specifications

• Cable length: 25 m
• Connector type: SFP28 to SFP28 (male-to-male)
• Data rate: up to 25 Gbit/s
• Media: active optical cable with integrated transceivers for multimode fiber transmission
• Weight: 0.15 kg
• Jacket colour: mint

How to use

Install the BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-SW-BO by inserting each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on your network devices until the latch engages. Ensure both endpoints support 25G SFP28 AOC modules and that device firmware allows third-party active optical cables if required. After insertion, verify link status and negotiate speed on each device according to vendor procedures. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, avoid bending the cable beyond the manufacturer's minimum bend radius, keep the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference despite its optical nature, and confirm compatibility with device vendor recommendations for SFP28 AOC modules. Use clearly visible mint-coloured routing to separate 25G links from other infrastructure and perform link verification after installation.
