Cabo patch Draka Comteq HP-FTP Cat6 vermelho 1 m

The Draka Comteq HP-FTP Cat6 patch cable in red, 1 meter in length, is a networking cable with F/UTP (foil-shielded twisted pair) construction designed for high-speed data transmission. It supports typical Cat6 performance parameters and is intended for short interconnections between devices such as switches, patch panels, PCs and networked equipment where reduced electromagnetic interference and stable signal integrity are required.

Advantages

F/UTP shielding around the twisted pairs minimizes crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, improving signal stability in environments with multiple cables and electronic devices. The Cat6 specification offers bandwidth sufficient for Gigabit Ethernet and many higher-frequency applications within its standard distance limits. A one-metre length provides a tidy, low-latency connection for close-proximity equipment while the red jacket enables easy visual identification in patch cabinets or cable runs.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches to patch panels in data cabinets and racks
• Linking desktop PCs, VoIP phones and networked printers to wall sockets or switches
• Short point-to-point connections in offices, server rooms and home networks
• Environments where color-coded cabling simplifies maintenance and troubleshooting

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 (suitable for Gigabit Ethernet and similar LAN applications)
• Shielding: F/UTP (foil around all pairs)
• Length: 1 m
• Conductor: twisted pair copper conductors (solid or stranded depending on factory assembly)
• Connector: RJ45 (8P8C) terminated to Cat6 specification
• Cable jacket color: red

How to use

Insert the RJ45 plug into the device’s Ethernet port until it clicks to establish a secure connection. Use the one-metre patch cable for short connections between devices inside racks, on desks, or between a wall outlet and a nearby device. Ensure both ends are firmly seated and avoid tight bends or kinking near the connector. For best performance, route the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as large power transformers or unshielded power cabling.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 F/UTP cable for short, high-quality connections where reduced interference and easy visual identification are required. When installing in dense cable environments, maintain gentle bend radii and avoid placing the cable under mechanical strain to preserve shielding effectiveness and connector integrity.
