Cabo SATA DeLOCK 83958 0,2 m SATA 7 pinos preto amarelo

This SATA cable by DeLOCK (model 83958) is a 0.2 m internal cable with two SATA 7-pin connectors for connecting SATA devices such as hard drives, SSDs, controller cards or flash memories. It supports the SATA 3.0 transfer rate up to 6 Gb/s and is backwards compatible with earlier SATA versions. The cable is supplied in black and yellow and features metal clips on the connectors for a secure click-in connection; when connected to a hard drive the cable is routed to the left.

Advantages

The DeLOCK 83958 cable provides a compact 0.2 m length for tidy internal routing, supports up to 6 Gb/s data transfer, and is backwards compatible with older SATA standards. Metal locking clips on the SATA 7-pin connectors ensure a reliable mechanical connection and the dual-colour design (black and yellow) helps with cable identification inside the chassis.

Suitable for

• Connecting internal HDDs and SSDs to motherboard or controller cards
• Internal connections to SATA controller cards
• Upgrading or replacing internal SATA cables in desktop PCs and workstations
• Compact builds where a short 0.2 m cable is required

How to use

Power off the computer and disconnect mains power before installing. Insert one SATA 7-pin connector into the SATA port on the motherboard or controller card and the other into the SATA port on the drive; the metal clips will click when fully seated. Ensure the cable is routed so it points to the left at the drive end if required by the drive orientation. Reconnect power and boot the system to verify device recognition.

Recommendations

Use the 0.2 m length for close-range internal connections to minimise cable clutter. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling; ensure connector clips engage fully. For maximum SATA 3.0 performance use with devices and controllers that also support 6 Gb/s.
