Cabo série DELOCK 86884 D-Sub 37 pinos, bege, 3 m

DELOCK 86884 is a 3 m beige serial cable with a 37-pin D-Sub connector designed for fixed wired serial connections between devices that use a 37-pin D-Sub interface. The cable provides a straightforward physical link for industrial controllers, networking equipment and legacy systems that require a full-pin D-Sub connection. Its neutral colour and standard connector type make it suitable for professional installations where a durable, no-frills serial link is needed.

Advantages

The cable offers a full 37-pin D-Sub connection that preserves all signal lines required by devices using this interface. A 3 m length balances reach and signal integrity in typical rack- or bench-mounted setups. The simple construction supports reliable point-to-point serial communication with minimal installation steps. The beige jacket provides a standard appearance that blends into many equipment environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting industrial controllers, instrumentation and legacy equipment with a 37-pin D-Sub port
• Serial communication links in networking racks and server rooms
• Field service, maintenance and device programming where a fixed-length cable is preferred

Key specifications

• Connector type: D-Sub 37-pin on each end
• Length: 3 metres
• Cable colour: beige
• Connection type: wired serial point-to-point
• Typical use: RS-style serial communication

How to use

Plug each D-Sub 37-pin connector into the corresponding device ports and secure the fastening screws where available to ensure a stable connection. Ensure both devices are powered off or set to a safe state while connecting to prevent unintended signalling. After connection, configure serial parameters (baud rate, parity, data bits, stop bits and handshaking) in the devices or host software to match the communication requirements of the equipment in use.

Recommendations

Use the cable in environments free from excessive mechanical strain, sharp bends or sources of high electromagnetic interference. For installations in electrically noisy environments, route the cable away from power lines and high-current conductors. Inspect connector screws and cable ends periodically for secure fastening and signs of wear.
