Cadeado de bicicleta dobrável FISCHER Cadeado de bicicleta dobrável XL 1100 mm — aço temperado

FISCHER Falt-Fahrradschloss XL 1100 mm is a folding bike lock constructed from hardened steel with an extended 1100 mm length in XL format. The lock combines compact folded dimensions with the ability to secure a bicycle frame and wheel to fixed objects such as bike racks, posts and railings. Its articulated design allows flexible routing around larger anchors while keeping carrying size and weight suitable for everyday urban use and longer stops.

Advantages

The hardened steel links provide increased resistance to cutting and leverage attacks compared with simple cable locks. The folding mechanism offers more rigidity and predictable locking geometry than fabric or cable wraps, while remaining more compact than long chain locks. The XL length gives enough reach to lock both frame and wheel to many public fixtures. The lock’s finish reduces corrosion and maintains smooth folding movement for frequent use.

Suitable for

• Securing commuter and city bicycles during daily errands or work commutes
• Locking hybrid and touring bikes at medium-risk locations
• Short- to medium-duration stops in urban environments
• Attaching frame and wheel to fixed posts, racks and railings

Key specifications

• Lock type: folding lock with articulated steel links
• Material: hardened steel links with protective coating
• Effective length: 1100 mm (XL)
• Design: compact foldable construction for transport
• Security features: rigid links to resist cutting and leverage
• Finish: corrosion-resistant coating for outdoor use

How to use

Open the folding segments and extend the lock to its full length, then route the lock through the bicycle frame and, where possible, the rear wheel before securing it around a fixed anchoring point such as a rack or post. Insert and turn the key or locking mechanism until it clicks or locks firmly, ensuring there is minimal slack in the lock to reduce leverage. Fold the segments back along their hinge points for compact transport and store the lock in a frame mount or bag when not in use.

Recommendations

For best protection, lock the frame and at least one wheel to a sturdy, immovable object in a well-lit, visible area. Combine this folding lock with a secondary cable or chain for additional security on longer stops or higher-risk locations. Regularly check the locking mechanism and the protective coating for signs of wear and clean and lubricate the lock cylinder as needed.
