Caixa de fusão de fibra ótica DIGITUS com tampa deslizante, 1U, equipada com 24x LC Duplex, incl. ligação roscada M 25, cassete de fusão OM3 pigtails coloridos, adaptador

The Digitus Fiber Optic Splice Box DN-96332/3 is a 1U, rack-mountable steel enclosure for organized fiber optic cable management. It comes pre-equipped with 24 LC duplex (DX) OM3 couplers, an included splice cassette, and colored pigtails to simplify identification and splicing tasks. With a compact footprint of 320 mm width and 515 mm depth, this splice box is intended to protect and manage multimode fiber connections in small to medium installations.

Advantages

This splice box provides a robust steel construction for mechanical protection and longevity, factory-equipped LC DX OM3 couplers for high-density connections, and an included splice cassette to secure and organize splices. Colored pigtails reduce identification errors during installation and maintenance. Its 1U height and compact depth allow efficient use of rack space while keeping fiber routing neat and accessible.

Suitable for

• Data centers and server rooms with multimode OM3 infrastructure
• Telecommunications distribution panels and network closets
• Commercial and residential installations requiring organized fiber termination
• Splicing and patching points where 24 LC duplex ports are needed

How to use

Mount the 1U splice box in a standard equipment rack and secure it according to rack manufacturer guidelines. Route incoming and outgoing fiber cables into the enclosure through the provided cable entries, fan them out and secure fibers in the splice cassette, then perform fusion or mechanical splices as required. Terminate pigtails into the LC OM3 couplers and verify connections with appropriate test equipment. Close the enclosure to protect splices and maintain cable bend-radius management.

Recommendations

Use certified OM3 multimode fiber and compatible LC connectors. Perform splicing and testing with appropriate fusion splicing equipment and optical loss test sets. Maintain bend-radius limits specified for multimode fiber and label colored pigtails for clear identification during maintenance.
