Caixa elétrica Satel OPU-3 P acrilonitrilo-butadieno-estireno ABS 324x108x382 mm

The SATEL OPU-3 P is a surface-mounted electrical enclosure made of white ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) designed to house control panels, modules, transformers and backup batteries. With dimensions of 324 x 108 x 382 mm, the enclosure offers ample internal space while its neutral aesthetic allows installation in visible interior locations. The base can be recessed into the wall to reduce the external footprint, and the housing provides double tamper protection against opening and against being torn off the wall. The enclosure also permits placement of wireless devices and antennas without blocking radio signals.

Advantages

The enclosure is made of durable ABS plastic that combines mechanical strength with a clean finish suitable for exposed interiors. Its size accommodates many SATEL control panels, extension and communication modules, 40 VA or 60 VA mains transformers and 12 V backup batteries (7 Ah or 17 Ah). Built-in double tamper protection improves physical security, and the option to recess the base into the wall reduces visible depth. The material does not attenuate radio signals, allowing wireless devices and antennas to operate effectively when installed inside.

Suitable for

• Housing SATEL alarm and control panels and their expansion modules
• Installing 40 VA or 60 VA network transformers
• Mounting 12 V backup batteries (7 Ah or 17 Ah)
• Placing wireless devices and antennas without signal loss
• Surface-mounted or semi-recessed interior installations

Key specifications

• Material: Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), white
• External dimensions (W × D × H): 324 × 108 × 382 mm
• Mounting: surface-mounted; base can be recessed into wall
• Transformer accommodation: supports 40 VA or 60 VA network transformers
• Battery accommodation: supports 12 V batteries 7 Ah or 17 Ah
• Security: double tamper protection (against opening and against wall removal)
• Radio compatibility: does not block or weaken wireless signals

How to use

Mount the enclosure on a prepared wall surface or recess the base into the wall to reduce projection. Install the chosen SATEL control panel, modules, transformer and backup battery on appropriate internal mounting panels or directly on the enclosure base following the manufacturer's mounting points. Route and secure wiring through available entries, connect power and signals according to the devices' documentation, then close the housing and engage tamper protection features.

Recommendations

Install the enclosure indoors in a dry environment and follow SATEL device instructions for clearances and ventilation. Ensure transformers and batteries used match the specified ratings (40 VA or 60 VA; 12 V, 7 Ah or 17 Ah) and verify wireless device placement inside the ABS housing for best signal performance.
