Caixa para sistema de alarme Rittal 2372.011, IP65, verde, 72 g

Rittal 2372.011 is a compact green enclosure designed for alarm system components that require protection from dust and water jets. With an IP65 rating and a lightweight construction of approximately 72 g, this single-unit housing provides a robust outer shell for mounting electronics, sensors, or small signalling devices. The enclosure features an optimised prism system enabling 360° signal transmission, making it suitable where unobstructed optical signalling is needed in addition to environmental protection.

Advantages

The enclosure combines a dust-tight design with splash and jet resistance to protect internal components in indoor and sheltered outdoor locations. Its low weight simplifies installation on walls or panels and reduces mechanical load on mounting points. The green colour offers clear visual identification for alarm applications. The integrated prism system supports omnidirectional signal output without compromising the IP65 integrity.

How to use

Open the enclosure following the manufacturer's guidance, mount the alarm electronics, sensor or signalling element inside using appropriate fasteners or adhesive pads, and route any required cabling through suitable gland entries or sealed apertures. Ensure all seals and mating surfaces are clean before reassembling to maintain the IP65 rating. After installation, test the signal transmission around the enclosure to confirm 360° visibility and verify the device functions correctly under expected environmental conditions.

Recommendations

For optimal long-term performance, avoid prolonged immersion and limit exposure to strong chemicals or solvents. Periodically inspect seals and mounting points for damage, and replace them if compromised to preserve dust and water protection. When installing optical signalling elements, position wiring and components so they do not obstruct the prism system to maintain all-around visibility.
