The Hikvision DS-2CD2H43G2-LIZS2U IP Camera is a 4MP surveillance camera with a 2.8–12 mm varifocal lens designed for flexible positioning and clear image capture. The camera provides high-resolution video suitable for monitoring entrances, parking areas and perimeter zones. It combines day/night operation, IR illumination for low-light conditions and a weatherproof housing to support both indoor and outdoor use.

Advantages

This camera delivers 4 megapixel resolution for detailed image quality while the motorized 2.8–12 mm lens allows remote adjustment of field of view without physical lens changes. Built-in IR LEDs extend visibility at night and motion detection helps trigger recordings or alerts. The compact, weather-resistant enclosure supports installation in exposed locations and the camera is compatible with standard IP-based surveillance systems for straightforward integration.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, mount the camera at a height that provides unobstructed views of key areas and avoid placing it directly facing strong light sources. Regularly check firmware updates and configure proper network security. When used outdoors, ensure seals and mounting points are properly tightened to maintain weather resistance and periodically clean the lens for optimal image clarity.
