Câmara turret Hikvision DS-2CD2H46G2H-IZSY 4 MP, ColorVu, objetiva varifocal motorizada 2,8–12 mm

Hikvision DS-2CD2H46G2H-IZSY is a fixed turret IP camera offering 4 MP resolution with ColorVu technology for full-color imaging in low-light conditions. The camera integrates a motorized 2.8–12 mm varifocal lens that allows remote adjustment of the field of view and focus, enabling flexible framing without physical lens changes. Built-in IR illumination and wide dynamic range improve visibility in mixed lighting, while Power over Ethernet (PoE) simplifies installation by combining power and data over a single cable. Designed for both outdoor and indoor use, the camera supports network connectivity for remote monitoring and recording.

Advantages

The camera provides high-resolution 4 MP video combined with ColorVu to preserve color detail at night or in low-light environments, improving identification of people and objects. The motorized 2.8–12 mm varifocal lens enables quick adjustments to zoom and viewing angle via software, reducing on-site configuration time. Integrated wide dynamic range balances scenes with strong backlight or bright highlights, and PoE support reduces cabling complexity. Robust housing and turret form factor simplify mounting on walls or ceilings and contribute to reliable day-to-day operation.

Suitable for

• Perimeter and entrance surveillance for residential and commercial properties
• Parking areas and driveways requiring vehicle and plate-level detail
• Retail and office interiors for staff and customer monitoring
• Outdoor corridors and building facades needing weather-resistant fixed cameras

Key specifications

• Image sensor delivering 4 megapixel resolution
• ColorVu low-light imaging technology for full-color night scenes
• Motorized varifocal lens with 2.8–12 mm focal range for adjustable field of view
• Built-in infrared illumination for supplemental night visibility
• Wide dynamic range (WDR) for balanced exposure in high-contrast scenes
• Power over Ethernet (PoE) support for combined power and data transmission
• Network (IP) connectivity for remote viewing and recording

How to use

Install the camera on a stable surface such as a wall or ceiling at the desired surveillance point, ensuring the field of view covers the intended area. Connect the camera to your network switch or PoE injector to provide power and data over a single cable. Use the camera’s web interface or compatible video management software to adjust the 2.8–12 mm motorized varifocal lens, set focus, configure exposure and WDR parameters, and define motion or event triggers. Integrate the device into your network storage or NVR solution for continuous recording and remote playback.

Recommendations

For best results, position the camera to minimize direct exposure to strong light sources and ensure the lens is protected from direct rain or spray. Use PoE-capable switches for simpler installation and stable power delivery. Regularly check firmware updates from the manufacturer and configure secure network access (strong passwords, network segmentation) to maintain device integrity.
