After use, store the pen capped to prevent ink from drying in the nib.

Recommendations

Use Pelikan branded or compatible ink cartridges recommended for cartridge fountain pens. Regularly clean the nib and section if you plan to store the pen unused for an extended period. Avoid dropping the pen to preserve the lacquer finish and nib alignment.
