Carregador de bateria automático GYS Artic 4000 para 6V e 12V, 4A

The GYS Artic 4000 is an automatic charger for 6V and 12V lead-acid batteries with a maximum charging current of 4A. Designed to manage the charging process without constant supervision, this compact unit provides controlled charging and maintenance for vehicle and standby batteries. The charger automatically adapts to the battery voltage and applies a regulated charging curve to restore battery capacity and maintain charge level, reducing the risk of overcharging when left connected for extended periods.

Advantages

The charger offers automatic charge management that selects the appropriate charging parameters for 6V and 12V batteries, simplifying use for different vehicle types. Its compact design and built-in protection against reverse polarity and short circuits contribute to safer handling. The limited maximum current of 4A makes it suitable for gradual charging and maintenance of small to medium capacity lead-acid batteries without stressing the battery.

How to use

Connect the charger to a suitable mains outlet and select the appropriate voltage if required. Attach the charger clamps to the battery terminals following correct polarity. Once connected, the charger will detect battery voltage and begin automatic charging according to the battery type and state of charge. Monitor the charger status indicators during the initial connection; after charging is complete the unit can be left connected in maintenance mode to keep the battery at optimal charge without overcharging.

Recommendations

Use the charger in a well-ventilated area and avoid charging in confined spaces with flammable gases. Ensure battery terminals are clean and connections are secure before starting. For long-term storage maintenance, keep the charger connected in maintenance mode rather than performing frequent full discharge/charge cycles. Consult the battery manufacturer’s specifications for recommended charging currents and compatibility with automatic maintenance chargers.
