Replacement remote control Samsung AH81-09773A for Sound Bar 2018 is a compact handheld controller designed to restore full remote functionality for compatible Samsung sound bar models from 2018. The remote provides basic playback controls, adjustable volume, and input selection, allowing straightforward operation after simple pairing or battery insertion. It is offered as a direct replacement for a lost, damaged, or malfunctioning original remote and matches the layout and button functions typically used on Samsung sound bars from that year.

Advantages

This replacement remote delivers essential control over sound bar functions without complicated setup. Its compact shape and clearly labeled buttons make daily use intuitive. The remote supports reliable infrared or RF communication (depending on the sound bar model) and is designed to fit existing control menus and icons used by Samsung devices from 2018. Installing new batteries quickly restores playback, volume and input control, reducing downtime compared with servicing the sound bar itself.

How to use

Install the required batteries into the remote following the polarity markings in the battery compartment. Point the remote toward the sound bar and press the power button to wake the device. If pairing is required, follow the sound bar manufacturer’s pairing procedure: typically this involves pressing and holding specific buttons on the remote while the sound bar is in pairing mode. Use the playback and navigation buttons to control media, and the input key to cycle through available audio sources. For models using IR, ensure there is a clear line of sight between remote and sound bar. For RF models, pairing may be maintained at greater distance and without direct line of sight.

Recommendations

Keep spare batteries on hand and store the remote in a dry, temperate place when not in use. Verify the specific 2018 sound bar model compatibility before purchase and consult the sound bar user manual for detailed pairing instructions if automatic control is not established after battery installation.
