Compressa de gel quente/frio 3M N1576 – Compressa terapêutica reutilizável para tratamento com calor e frio

The 3M N1576 Hot/Cold Gel Pack is a reusable therapy pack designed for local heat and cold treatment. Filled with a flexible gel, it conforms to body contours and delivers targeted temperature therapy to relieve muscle aches, strains, swelling and minor injuries. The pack can be heated in warm water or chilled in a refrigerator or freezer, providing a versatile option for routine home care and first-aid situations.

Advantages

The gel composition maintains temperature evenly across the surface while remaining pliable for comfortable application to various body parts. Its reusable design reduces waste and offers repeated use for ongoing therapy needs. The pack is compact and lightweight, allowing easy storage and straightforward placement on injured or sore areas. Materials are chosen to provide a durable outer layer that resists minor punctures and allows safe handling when warm or cold.

Suitable for

• Management of minor sprains and strains
• Reduction of swelling and bruising after minor injuries
• Post-exercise recovery and localized cooling
• Mild heat therapy for stiffness and chronic muscle discomfort

How to use

For cold therapy, place the gel pack in a refrigerator or freezer until it reaches the desired temperature, then apply to the affected area for short intervals, protecting skin with a thin cloth to avoid direct prolonged exposure. For heat therapy, heat the pack in warm (not boiling) water until it reaches a comfortable temperature, remove carefully, and wrap in a cloth before applying to the skin. Use for periods recommended by a healthcare professional or standard first-aid guidance, typically 10–20 minutes per application, and allow intervals between uses to avoid skin damage. Inspect the pack for signs of wear or leakage before each use and discontinue use if the outer material is damaged.

Recommendations

Use the gel pack as part of a broader care plan: alternate cold and heat therapy only according to medical advice, avoid direct prolonged contact with bare skin, and consult a healthcare professional for persistent pain or severe injuries. Store the pack flat in a cool place when not in use and follow local guidance for cleaning and maintenance to prolong service life.
