Conector de cabo RJ-45 ShiverPeaks BS08-51004 prateado macho

The ShiverPeaks BS08-51004 Silver Male RJ-45 wire connector is a single-piece male network plug designed to terminate Ethernet cables with a secure metal housing in a silver finish. Intended for standard network cabling, this RJ-45 connector provides a compact interface for establishing reliable wired connections between network devices. Sold individually, the connector is suitable for field terminations, repairs, and custom cable assemblies where a durable male RJ-45 termination is required.

Advantages

The silver metal housing offers mechanical strength and stable contact alignment for consistent signal transmission. Its design accommodates standard twisted-pair Ethernet conductors and provides a compact male interface that is compatible with common RJ-45 jacks. Being sold as a single unit allows targeted replacements or small-scale installations without excess packaging. The connector is intended to support reliable physical connection and straightforward termination in the field or workshop.

Suitable for

• Repairing a damaged RJ-45 plug on a patch cable
• Custom-building short Ethernet jumper cables
• Field termination and on-site cable fixes
• Low-quantity or single-item installations

Key specifications

• Connector type: Male RJ-45
• Material: Metal housing with silver finish
• Quantity: Sold individually
• Compatibility: Standard 8P8C Ethernet jacks and twisted-pair cables
• Typical use: Termination for copper Ethernet cabling

How to use

Strip the cable jacket and expose the twisted-pair conductors to the length recommended for the connector. Arrange the individual conductors in the correct wiring order for the chosen Ethernet standard, insert them fully into the connector so that the conductor ends reach the contact points, and secure the termination according to the connector's mechanical design (crimping, latching, or screw action as applicable). Verify that the metal housing and plug seat correctly in an RJ-45 jack and test continuity and signal integrity with a cable tester after termination.

Recommendations

Use appropriate cable preparation tools and a compatible termination tool to ensure reliable contacts and prevent damage to conductors. Test each terminated cable for continuity and pair integrity before putting it into service. For environments sensitive to corrosion or oxidation, consider connectors and cable assemblies with additional environmental protection as needed.
