Conector de fibra ótica LC/LC fêmea/fêmea ShiverPeaks BS07-60022

The ShiverPeaks BS07-60022 LC/LC Female/Female fibre optic connector is a bulkhead-style adapter designed for reliable connection of LC-terminated multimode or singlemode patch cables. Sold as a single unit, this connector provides a compact interface to join two LC plugs through a panel or wall plate, maintaining optical alignment and minimizing insertion loss. Its female-to-female configuration makes it suitable for extending or rerouting fibre links in structured cabling and equipment racks.

Advantages

This LC/LC bulkhead connector delivers stable optical coupling with a compact footprint suitable for dense installations. The design reduces mechanical stress on cable terminations and helps preserve signal integrity across the mating interface. As a single, ready-to-install adapter, it simplifies panel mounting and cable management while ensuring consistent physical alignment of LC ferrules for predictable performance.

Suitable for

• Joining two LC fibre patch cables through a panel or wall plate
• Extending existing LC connections in telecom and data centre racks
• Connecting fibre links in networking closets and server rooms
• Use in structured cabling projects where compact, high-density adapters are required

Key specifications

• Connector type: LC female to LC female (bulkhead/adapter)
• Mounting style: panel/wall plate bulkhead
• Interface density: compact, suitable for high-density panels
• Compatibility: designed for standard LC-terminated fibre patch cords (singlemode or multimode)
• Unit: sold individually

How to use

Install the bulkhead adapter into the designated panel or wall plate cutout and secure it according to the enclosure or plate specifications. Insert LC-terminated patch cords into each side of the adapter until they click into place, ensuring ferrules are clean and free of dust before mating. To disconnect, press the LC connector latch and gently withdraw the patch cord. Regular inspection and cleaning of fibre end faces will help maintain low insertion loss and reliable performance.

Recommendations

Use appropriate fibre cleaning tools and dust caps when connectors are not mated. Avoid excessive bending or tension on patch cords near the adapter and verify compatibility with singlemode or multimode cabling used in the installation.
