Conector de fibra ótica ShiverPeaks BS07-60051 SC/SC conector fêmea/conector fêmea

The ShiverPeaks BS07-60051 SC/SC Female/Female fibre optic connector is a bulkhead-style adapter that enables a secure connection between two SC-terminated fibre cables. Designed for panel or chassis mounting, this single-piece connector supports standard SC simplex interfaces and is intended for use where a reliable, low-loss optical link is required. It is supplied individually and is compatible with typical multimode and singlemode SC terminations used in networking and telecommunications installations.

Advantages

This SC/SC female-to-female adapter provides a stable mechanical coupling that reduces connector misalignment and limits insertion loss. Its bulkhead format allows neat integration into panels, enclosures, and patch panels, helping to maintain a consistent optical path. The adapter's construction ensures repeatable performance across reconnections and supports routine maintenance and reconfiguration without introducing significant additional attenuation.

Suitable for

• Panel or chassis bulkhead mounting in communication racks and enclosures
• Joining two SC-terminated fibre cables for extension or patching
• Telecommunications, data centre interconnects, and local area network cabling
• Field installations and equipment that require SC simplex interfaces

Key specifications

• Connector type: SC female to SC female (bulkhead adapter)
• Interface: standard SC simplex
• Mounting style: panel / bulkhead
• Compatible fibre types: multimode and singlemode SC terminations (as used in target system)
• Quantity: sold individually

How to use

Install the adapter into a prepared panel cutout or chassis aperture and secure it according to the enclosure's mounting requirements. Insert SC-terminated fibre connectors into each side of the adapter until they click into place, ensuring proper endface contact. For removal, depress the SC connector latch and withdraw the connector straight out to avoid endface damage. Follow standard fibre handling practices—keep endfaces clean and inspect with a fibre microscope if precise performance is required.

Recommendations

To maintain optimal optical performance, clean connectors before mating and store unused adapters with protective dust caps. Use a visual fault locator or power meter to verify attenuation after installation and avoid excessive bending of connected fibre cables near the adapter.
