Conector keystone de fibra ótica ShiverPeaks SC-SC simplex bege (MPN 08-10214)

The ShiverPeaks SC-SC Simplex Keystone fiber connector in beige provides a compact, panel-mountable solution for linking single optical fibers. Designed to fit standard keystone wall plates and patch panels, this SC to SC simplex adapter delivers a standardized connection interface compatible with common SC-terminated cables. It is intended for use in both single-mode and multimode fiber infrastructures where a single-fiber, space-saving connection is required for data, telecom and network environments.

Advantages

This keystone SC-SC simplex connector offers straightforward installation into keystone openings, a consistent ferrule alignment for reliable mating of SC connectors and a compact footprint that supports tidy cable management on panels and wall plates. The beige color provides visual identification for multimode or specified cabling systems and helps maintain uniform appearance in access points and patch fields.

Suitable for

• Keystone wall plates in offices, server rooms and communication closets
• Keystone-style patch panels and distribution frames
• Point-to-point fiber links and short jumper connections
• Fiber installations where a single-fiber (simplex) termination is required

Key specifications

• Connector type: SC to SC simplex adapter
• Form factor: Keystone module for wall plates and patch panels
• Polish/termination compatibility: supports standard SC ferrule terminations for single-mode and multimode fibers
• Color: beige for easy visual identification
• Material: durable housing suitable for repeated plug/unplug cycles
• Mounting: snap-in installation into keystone openings

How to use

Insert the keystone module into a compatible keystone opening on a wall plate or patch panel until it snaps into place. Align SC-terminated fiber jumpers with the adapter’s mating faces and insert until a secure connection is achieved. To remove, grip the module and pull it out of the keystone opening; disconnect fibers by depressing the connector latch and withdrawing the plug. Ensure fiber ends and adapter mating surfaces are clean before connecting to minimize insertion loss and protect the fiber ferrules with dust caps when not in use.

Recommendations

For best performance, clean fiber endfaces with appropriate lint-free wipes and fiber cleaning solution before mating. Use compatible SC-terminated patch cords and avoid excessive bending near the connector. Confirm that the beige color matches the intended cabling standard in your installation to maintain clear identification.
