Conjunto de pinos de tensão ks tools 970.0550 — 50 unid., vários diâmetros e comprimentos

Clamping pins set ks tools 970.0550 — 50 pieces, assorted diameters and lengths is a 50-piece assortment of precision locating and securing pins designed for temporary fastening, alignment and positioning of components during assembly and repair. Manufactured by ks tools, the set covers a range of diameters and lengths to meet common mechanical and workshop tasks where reproducible positioning and easy withdrawal of pins are required. The kit is intended for use in mechanical workshops, automotive repair and general maintenance operations where accurate part location speeds up work and reduces the need for improvised fixtures.

Advantages

The set provides a wide selection of pin sizes in one compact kit, allowing quick selection of the correct diameter and length for a given application without modifying parts. Pins are manufactured from hardened steel for dimensional stability and repeated use, and their smooth surfaces enable easy insertion and removal while minimising damage to mating components. The assortment reduces setup time and improves repeatability when aligning shafts, locating holes or holding assemblies in position during welding, drilling or fitting.

Suitable for

• Aligning and locating engine and transmission components during assembly
• Holding parts in position for drilling, tapping or welding
• Temporary fixtures in mechanical and metalworking workshops
• General maintenance and repair where precise locating pins are required

Key specifications

• Contents: 50 clamping/locating pins in assorted diameters and lengths
• Material: hardened steel for wear resistance and durability
• Surface finish: smooth machined surface to facilitate insertion and removal
• Application temperature: suitable for normal workshop and automotive environments
• Packaging: compact storage case for organised transport and selection

How to use

Select a pin with the appropriate diameter and length for the hole or clearance in the components to be aligned. Insert the pin through aligned holes or into one component to locate the mating part, ensuring the pin seats fully without forcing. Use multiple pins as needed to prevent rotation or misalignment. Withdraw pins after securing permanent fasteners or completing the operation by pulling straight to avoid scoring the hole. Keep the pins clean and inspect for wear or damage before each use to maintain reliable locating accuracy.

Recommendations

Store the pins in their case to prevent loss and corrosion; apply a light protective oil if long-term storage in humid environments is anticipated. Use the smallest diameter that provides a secure fit to reduce bore expansion, and avoid using damaged pins that could impair alignment accuracy.
