Corta-cabos Bahco 2666 FK peso 49 g

The Bahco 2666 FK cable cutter is a compact hand tool designed for precise cutting of cables. Weighing 49 g, it offers a lightweight solution for both professional electricians and home users who need accurate, clean cuts. The tool's ergonomic form and sharp cutting edges minimize effort and reduce the risk of frayed strands, making it suitable for work that requires neat cable ends and reliable connections.

Advantages

The cutter combines low weight with a compact size that improves maneuverability in confined spaces. Its ergonomic handle profile reduces hand fatigue during repetitive operations, and the sharp, closely aligned blades deliver consistent, clean cuts. The tool's construction focuses on durability and ease of control, allowing users to perform precise trimming without excessive force.

Suitable for

• Cutting small to medium electrical cables and multi-strand wires
• Preparation of cable ends for crimping and termination
• Installation and maintenance tasks in confined or hard-to-reach spaces
• DIY electrical projects and light workshop use

Key specifications

• Tool type: manual cable cutter designed for precision cuts
• Weight: 49 g (lightweight for handheld use)
• Blade type: sharp shearing edges for clean, non-fraying cuts
• Form factor: compact and ergonomic for improved control
• Intended materials: insulated and non-insulated copper and aluminum conductors within the cutter's capacity

How to use

Position the cable between the blades at the point to be cut, making sure the strand bundle is aligned and tensioned if necessary. Squeeze the handles evenly and steadily until the blades sever the conductor cleanly. For multi-strand cables, apply a controlled squeeze to avoid crushing or deforming the conductor. After cutting, inspect the cable end and, if required, trim any stray strands with the same tool to ensure a neat termination surface.

Recommendations

Use the cable cutter only within its intended capacity and avoid cutting hardened steel, large diameter cables, or materials with embedded metallic armor. Keep blades clean and inspect for wear regularly; replace the tool if cutting performance degrades. Store in a dry place to avoid corrosion and wear protective gloves when working in energized or sharp-edge environments.
