Suitable for

• Cutting insulated electrical cables in installation and repair work

• DIY electrical projects requiring manual cable cutting

Key specifications

• Tool type: manual hand cable cutter
• Handle: durable red, ergonomic grip
• Intended use: cutting of electrical and multi-core cables
• Application: professional and domestic cable cutting tasks

How to use

Place the cable between the cutter blades at the desired cutting point, ensure the blade alignment matches the cable diameter, and squeeze the handles together in a steady motion until the cable is severed. Maintain a firm grip on the red handle to control the cut and avoid twisting the cable during the operation. For thicker cables, apply consistent pressure and, if necessary, reposition the cable to achieve a clean cut.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and gloves. Inspect the tool before use to ensure the cutting edges are free of damage and the handle is intact. Do not use the cutter on live electrical circuits; ensure cables are de-energized and, where applicable, stripped of excessive insulation before cutting to avoid blade damage.
