Corta-tubos Knipex TubiX S 3–30 mm, ferramenta de corte compacta para tubos metálicos e plásticos

The Knipex TubiX S 30–300mm is a compact cutting tool engineered for clean, controlled cuts of metal and plastic pipes with diameters from 3 to 30 mm. Its slim profile and secure grip allow access in confined spaces where conventional cutters are impractical. The tool is intended for professional and DIY plumbing, HVAC and installation tasks requiring precise, burr-free cuts and easy portability.

Advantages

The Pipe cutter Knipex TubiX S combines a compact, ergonomic design with a robust cutting mechanism that maintains consistent cutting quality across a range of pipe materials. The secure clamping action minimizes slipping and deformation of the workpiece while the compact head and low overall weight improve maneuverability in tight installations. The cutter is designed for repeatable accuracy and reduced cleanup due to smooth cut edges.

Suitable for

• Cutting copper, aluminum and thin-walled metal tubing
• Cutting PVC, PEX and other plastic pipes
• On-site plumbing repairs and pipe replacement
• HVAC installation and maintenance in confined spaces
• Electrical conduit preparation and retrofit work

Key specifications

• Cutting capacity: 3000–300mm diameter
• Suitable materials: metal and plastic pipes
• Design: compact profile for tight spaces
• Grip: secure clamping action to reduce slipping
• Portability: lightweight and easy to carry on-site

How to use

Position the pipe within the cutter's jaws at the desired cutting point, ensuring the pipe is fully seated and supported. Squeeze the handles to engage the clamping mechanism, then apply steady pressure while rotating the tool around the pipe as required to complete the cut. For plastic pipes, use moderate force to avoid crushing; for metal tubing, apply firm, consistent pressure and check the blade condition regularly. After cutting, inspect the pipe end and remove any small burrs or fragments before installation.

Recommendations

Use the cutter on appropriately sized pipes within the stated diameter range and follow standard safety practices: wear eye protection, secure the workpiece, and replace damaged blades immediately. Store the tool clean and dry to maintain cutting performance.
