DeLOCK Prensa-cabos 90° angular PG11 cinzento alívio de tensão

This Delock 90° angled cable gland provides a watertight seal for housings where cables or electrical conduits pass through. The angled design allows installation in confined spaces while the grey plastic construction ensures durable performance and longevity. The screw-on strain relief secures the cable, prevents excessive bending and keeps the cable in position under vibration.

Advantages

The integrated screw-on strain relief fixes cables securely and reduces mechanical stress at the entry point. The IP68 rating ensures protection against dust and temporary immersion in water. The compact, angled shape enables space-saving routing of cables in machines, automation systems and robotics applications.

Suitable for

• Cable and conduit entry in electrical housings
• Machine and automation installations with limited space
• Robotics systems requiring secure cable fixation
• Environments where dust and water protection is needed

How to use

Drill or prepare an appropriately sized opening in the enclosure for the PG11 gland, insert the angled gland through the hole and secure it using the provided nut or mounting thread. Pass the cable through the gland, adjust position and tighten the screw-on strain relief to clamp the cable. Ensure the gland is tightened sufficiently to achieve a watertight seal while avoiding over-torquing that could damage the housing or cable.

Recommendations

Use the cable gland with cables that match the PG11 inner diameter range and avoid overtightening the strain relief. For permanent outdoor or submerged installations verify sealing and compatibility with the applied cable sheath; inspect periodically for wear in high-vibration or abrasive environments.
