Descarnador de cabos Knipex 16 80 125 SB vermelho

The Knipex 16 80 125 SB cable stripper is built for dismantling and stripping common round and damp-proof installation cables with diameters from 8.0 to 13.0 mm (for example 3 x 1.5 mm² up to 5 x 2.5 mm²). Its double-shell folding-back stripping design, fibreglass-reinforced plastic body and compact 125 mm length make it suitable for use in conduit and distribution boxes and for both professional and DIY tasks. The tool includes an opening spring, locking device and a practical clip for easy transport. The red colour improves visibility in a toolbox.

Advantages

The folding-back double-shell stripping mechanism enables reliable and controlled insulation removal without damaging conductors. An integrated opening spring and locking device increase handling efficiency and safety during work. The fibreglass-reinforced plastic body keeps the stripper lightweight (approximately 71 g) while maintaining durability. The compact 125 mm size and transport clip provide convenient portability and accessibility on job sites.

How to use

Place the cable into the stripper's opening so the section to be removed aligns with the double-shell blades. Close the tool to engage the cutting edges and then rotate or slide the tool as required to score and remove the insulation. Fold back the double shell as designed to strip the jacket cleanly from the conductor bundle, taking care not to nick the wires. Use the opening spring to reopen the tool and the locking device to secure it when transporting.

Recommendations

Inspect the cable diameter before stripping to ensure it falls within the 8.0–13.0 mm range. Work on de-energised cables only and follow local electrical safety procedures. If the conductor insulation is damaged during stripping, replace or repair the section before energising.
