Distribuidor modular Intellinet de 2 portas, Cat5e, FTP, permite a partilha de um cabo de rede Cat5e por duas portas RJ45

The Intellinet 2-Port Modular Distributor (Cat5e, FTP) allows two RJ45 ports to share a single Cat5e shielded network cable, reducing cable runs and simplifying installations. It features foil twisted-pair (FTP) shielding to minimize electromagnetic interference and is designed to be used in pairs—one modular distributor installed at each end of the shared cable. The product is compact and finished in silver.

Advantages

This modular distributor enables two separate RJ45 connections over one Cat5e shielded cable, reducing the need to lay multiple cable runs. It is intended for paired use and requires a female-to-female coupler on each end of the network cable to complete the connection. Couplers are not included. The product is backed by a lifetime warranty.

Suitable for

• Homes where cable runs are limited
• Small offices and workspaces requiring two network connections from a single cable route
• Retrofit installations where adding extra cabling is impractical

Key specifications

How to use

Install one modular distributor at each end of the Cat5e FTP cable run. Use a female-to-female RJ45 coupler on each end to connect the distributor to the cable and to the devices or wall plates. Ensure that the cable shielding is properly terminated and that connections are secure to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

Use the distributor in pairs with Cat5e FTP cable only; do not exceed the supported network performance for Cat5e when splitting connections. For best results, test both connections after installation and use compatible couplers. Couplers are sold separately.
