Docking station i-tec Metal USB-C Nano 3x Display + Power Delivery 100 W

This USB-C / Thunderbolt 3 docking station expands a laptop, tablet or smartphone with a free Thunderbolt 3 or USB-C port capable of transmitting video. It provides multiple video outputs (1× HDMI and 2× DisplayPort), several USB-A and USB-C ports, a Gigabit LAN port and up to 100 W USB-C Power Delivery to charge compatible laptops and tablets. The compact metal body with an integrated cable is designed for frequent travel and plug-and-play use without driver installation.

Advantages

The docking station supports connection of up to three external monitors simultaneously (dependent on the host graphics capabilities) using HDMI and DisplayPort outputs, and allows simultaneous data transfer, network connection via LAN and device charging through a single USB-C cable if the host supports Power Delivery. The brushed aluminium housing adds durability, and the integrated cable length accommodates ports located on upper screen frames. It is compatible with devices featuring either USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 ports.

Suitable for

• Extending a laptop or tablet workstation with multiple external monitors
• Connecting peripherals: keyboard, mouse, printer, external drives
• Stable wired Internet connection via Gigabit LAN
• Charging laptops and tablets that support USB-C Power Delivery (up to 100 W)

Key specifications

• Host interface: USB-C / Thunderbolt 3 (video-capable port required)
• Video outputs: 1× HDMI, 2× DisplayPort (can be used simultaneously depending on host GPU)
• Power Delivery: up to 100 W (if host supports PD)
• Network: Gigabit LAN port
• USB ports: multiple USB-A and USB-C ports for data and peripherals
• Body: brushed aluminium with integrated USB-C cable
• Compatibility note: macOS does not support MST — all external displays will mirror on macOS

How to use

Connect the docking station to a free Thunderbolt 3 or USB-C port on your laptop, tablet or smartphone that supports video output. Plug external monitors into the HDMI and DisplayPort outputs and connect peripherals to the USB ports. If your host supports USB-C Power Delivery, connect its power adapter to enable charging through the docking station. Close the laptop lid if you need to output to three external monitors and your graphics hardware supports triple display.

Recommendations

Check your device specifications to confirm video-capable USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port and Power Delivery support. The ability to drive three independent monitors depends on the host GPU; most modern integrated and discrete GPUs support this, but macOS devices will mirror displays due to lack of MST support.
