The Ring Binder Esselte 320230 A4 Green is a durable lever-arch binder designed to store and organise A4 documents. Constructed from sturdy cardboard with a polypropylene (PP) covering, the binder provides a rigid form and a wipeable surface. Its dimensions are approximately 290 mm wide, 72 mm spine/depth and 318 mm high, giving ample capacity for sheets and punched documents. The product is supplied singly and carries Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification for the paper components.

Advantages

The binder combines a rigid cardboard body with a polypropylene coating for improved wear resistance and easy cleaning. The lever-arch mechanism secures punched documents and allows quick opening and closing for frequent access. Its 72 mm spine offers a balance between capacity and shelf space efficiency, while the colour coding helps visual organisation. FSC certification indicates that the paper materials come from responsibly managed forests.

How to use

Open the lever-arch mechanism using the lever to release the rings, insert punched A4 sheets onto the rings and close the mechanism until it locks. Use the spine or front insert (if present) to label the binder for quick identification. Store the binder upright on a shelf or in magazine holders to maintain shape and make retrieval straightforward. Clean the polypropylene surface with a soft cloth and mild detergent if required.

Recommendations

For long-term archiving, distribute documents across multiple binders to avoid overfilling and to reduce stress on the mechanism. Use reinforced punched pockets for loose or frequently handled sheets. Keep binders stored upright in a dry environment to prevent warping of the cardboard core.
